Addressing Cognition in Medical Respite (2022). Resource Type: Archived Webinar. Description: Addressing cognitive impairment within medical respite care programs can be challenging. Within the respite setting, identification and accommodating cognitive impairment can be difficult while still focusing on a person’s recovery. This challenge increases when considering and adapting for the different types of cognitive impairment, such as traumatic brain injury or dementia, which require different approaches for care.
