Resource Summary: The School-Based Health Centers 101: Partnerships and Pathways to Expand Students' Access to Healthcare webinar aimed to increase the audience's knowledge and capacity to understand the key components of school-based health center start-up, share insights on successful partnership-building, financial sustainability strategies, and delivering high-quality care. In addition, the webinar highlighted resources available to support school-based health center planning teams, including a no-cost learning collaborative. While targeted at Health Center professionals, this session was open to anyone interested in school-based health center start-up.

Resource Details: The School-Based Health Centers 101: Partnerships and Pathways to Expand Students’ Access to Healthcare webinar focused on best practices for school-based health center start-up. The webinar featured Health Center staff with experience in school-based health center start-up, who shared their successes and lessons learned. In addition, the School-Based Health Alliance shared best practices related to partnerships, financial sustainability, and high-quality care. The School-Based Health Alliance also highlighted resources to support school-based health center planning teams, including an upcoming no-cost learning collaborative. The webinar was developed for Health Center leadership and staff; however, anyone interested in school-based health center start-up was welcome to participate.
