Resource Summary: The National Center for Farmworker Health (NCFH) will address the critical need for health centers to properly assess the language competency and qualifications of their staff, as well as highlight the significance of having adequate bilingual staff, to address language barriers for diverse patient populations. By the end of this webinar, health center staff will recognize the importance of minimizing language barriers in healthcare and access tools to assess language competency, including NCFH’s new tool, Assessing Bilingual Staff Competency Tool, to improve overall care and patient health outcomes.
