Resource Summary: As World Diabetes Day approaches, the statistic of one in nine people having diabetes by 2030 is another reason to raise awareness about the importance of diabetes health screenings to detect complications early and receive timely chronic disease care. This webinar will provide an overview of the importance of Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support (DSMES) programs and National Diabetes Prevention Programs (DPP), the process and requirements for accreditation, as well as the benefits of implementing such programs for both health centers and patients, to offer the best evidence-based care.
