Resource Details: In this session, we highlight a recent capital project for Desert Sage Health Center, a clinic providing essential services to the rural Elmore and Owyhee counties in Idaho, which tailored the structure of its new facility to suit the distinctive needs of its service area. In addition to reviewing Desert Sage’s project experience, Alan Morgan, CEO of the National Rural Health Association, discusses the connection between rural health issues and facility designs, as well as the current issues rural health centers are facing.
