Resource Summary: The lack of access to socially acceptable means for acquiring healthy foods can lead to individuals and families making tradeoffs that harm their well-being. Screening for food insecurity is a starting point to identifying patient/community needs, but effective partnership plans for support health care providers need ways to promptly connect patients with access to healthy food. This webinar will discuss how health centers can further support or modify current infrastructure to make connections to referral systems that support patient/community abilities to purchase healthy food.
