Health center staff will learn about healthcare disparities and applicable clinical practices that participants can integrate into their own contexts.

Resource Details: This 90-minute webinar will provide participants with an introduction to foundational terminology and concepts related to LGBTQIA+ identity and experience of homelessness with a focus on LGBTQIA+ health care. Health center staff will learn about healthcare disparities and applicable clinical practices that participants can integrate into their own contexts. Health center staff are welcomed and encouraged to join in groups but are asked to register individually. Both clinical and non-clinical staff are invited, including administrative staff and leadership. This webinar is the first activity in a series of educational offerings by the Council addressing LGBTQIA+ health and homelessness, and a recording of the session will be provided for staff who are unable to attend.
