Resource Summary: MHP Salud develop a TA article aimed at diabetes prevention strategies for families with a focus on adults. MHP Salud will pull from their field-tested strategies using Community HealthWorkers/Promotores(as) de Salud to deliver community-based outreach and health education to both adults and families to incorporate healthy eating and physical activity to improve health across the lifespan.
Resource Details: The article touches on diabetes and the Hispanic/Latino community. Tools are introduced to assist with diabetes prevention. The community health worker\'s role (CHW) is introduced and presented as a culturally appropriate source to overcome cultural barriers.
