Resource Summary: Presented by Jodi Lavin-Tompkins, Director of Accreditation with AADE, this session will provide an overview of the American Association of Diabetes Educators and their AADE7 Self-Care Behaviors Framework, along with a review of their other products and services offered to help those who work with people with diabetes and pre-diabetes. Attendees will also learn the pros and cons of accreditation and the steps and structure needed to apply for accreditation to provide diabetes self-management and diabetes prevention services.
