Resource Summary: This session focused on the factors that influence the cost of care, providing information from new resources – a Capital Link study examining four-year trends across a series of cost-focused ratios and an updated NACHC issue brief providing a methodology for calculating costs.
Resource Details: We will discuss the importance of using data in a fee-for-service environment and as the sector transitions to a value-based reimbursement. We will also describe the inter-connections between staffing, process, and programs, and how to make changes that will positively impact health center operations (financial and quality performance as well as patient and staff satisfaction).
