Resource Summary: This fact sheet outlines the impact of potential cuts to Medicaid on Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islanders (AA&NHPIs) and health centers.
Resource Details: This fact sheet uses the 2015 Uniform Data System (UDS) report and outlines how health centers care for a large proportion of Medicaid patients - 1 in 6 Medicaid beneficiaries. The data demonstrates that Medicaid cuts will harm health centers' ability to care for their patients and further limit health centers' ability to provide quality care. This will force health centers to cut essential services such as enabling services (ES) which will impact patient health outcomes.
